Applicants are required to have 75% in each of: English 30-1; Pure Math 30 or Math 30-1 or Math 30-2; Physics 30; Biology 30; and 1 credit of post-secondary Medical Terminology completed within 5 years of the application deadline with a final grade of 60% or greater or completion of NAIT's Medical Terminology challenge examination with a minimum 60% pass. The NAIT course that meets this prerequisite requirement is ITMS100- Medical Terminology. It is not a requirement for Medical Terminology to be completed by the application deadline; however, if accepted into the program, proof of completion of the course or challenge exam with a passing grade of at least 60% MUST be submitted to the student application file by July 31st. |

ELP Requirement is one of the following: 1.TOEFL IBT (Internet Based) - 83 (23 in the Speaking component, 20 in the Reading component, 20 in the Listening component, 20 in the Writing component) OR 2. IELTS (Academic Format) - 6 (with minimum band scores for each component - 6.5 in the Speaking component, 6.0 in the Reading component, 6.0 in the Listening component, 6.0 in the Writing component). |
Additional Admission Requirements: | Students are required to work 40 hours per week during the clinical training. Clinical placements will follow the didactic portion of the program, during which students will perform exams on patients' abdomens, superficial structures, obstetrics and gynecology, and cardiac sonography and vascular sonographic studies.
